The family run business Klippan Yllefabrik was started when Jöns Petter Magnusson bought a wool spinning mill at Klippan in 1879

The business grew from year to year and Klippan Yllefabrik's main business was to manufacture and sell yarn for hand weaving and yarn for industrial use until the 1980s. During the 1970s Klippan Yllefabrik was one of Scandinavia's most modern wool spinning plant with about 100 employees.
